WorldStage– Access Holdings Plc (trading as Access Corporation) has formally notified the investing public and the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) of a potential delay in releasing its Audited Interim Financial Statements for the half-year ended June 30.
In an announcement signed by Company Secretary Sunday Ekwochi, the financial holding company disclosed that the delay is due to ongoing post-audit completion matters and the mandatory requirement to obtain regulatory approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) before the final release of its accounts.
Key Details of the Disclosure:
Regulatory Approval Pending: In line with regulatory standards for financial holding companies and banking institutions in Nigeria, the half-year audited results were submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for review and approval prior to public dissemination.
Extension Granted: To accommodate the regulatory approval process and post-audit requirements, the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) granted Access Holdings an extension of time to publish the results.
Closed Period Maintained: The company reminded key insiders and directors that the previously declared closed period regarding transactions on Access Holdings’ securities remains in full effect. The trading restriction will stay in place until 24 hours after the audited interim financial statements are officially published.
Access Holdings expressed appreciation to its shareholders and the investing community for their patience as it completes the statutory regulatory clearance process.
