This latest deal represents the second major share purchase by Mr. Otedola in August alone, following an earlier acquisition of 138.04 million shares valued at ₦18.11 billion. It also comes on the heels of a massive purchase of 1.78 billion shares executed in late July.
The acquisition adds approximately 0.33% to Mr. Otedola’s total holdings, bringing his overall stake in First HoldCo to roughly 27.5% of the company’s issued share capital.
