WorldStage Newsonline– The Supreme Court on Thursday affirmed the elections of Ahmed Aliyu as Sokoto State governor, Agbu Kefas as Taraba governor and Gov. Simi Fubara of Rivers State.
Delivering judgment, Justice Tijani Abubakar dismissed the appeal by the PDP and its governorship candidate, Saidu Umar in Sokoto State.
Delivering judgment for Taraba State, Justice Lawal Garba dismissed the appeal by the NNPP and its governorship candidate, Yahaya Sani for filing incomplete record of appeal.
The Supreme Court also upheld the election of Gov. Simi Fubara of Rivers as Justice Ibrahim Saulawa dismissed the appeal by the APC and its governorship candidate, Tonye Cole.
