*As profit jumps 1081.6% in Q2
WorldStage Newsonline– Unilever Nigeria Plc has released its unaudited interim financial statements for the six months ended 30 June 2024 with 60.67% rise in profit for the period to N4.437 billion from N2.762 billion in 2023.
The company lost N1.335 billion from discontinued operations durig the period while revenue rose to N63.909 billion from N45.350 billion in 2023.
The statement of profit or loss and other comprehensive income for three months ended 30 June showed 1081.6% jump in profit for the period to N1.08 billion from N91.478 million in 2023.
While loss from discontinued operations was put at N1.185 billion, revenue rose to N31.593 billion from N24.874 billion in Q2 2023.
