The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) has called on state governments that are still owing workers salaries to resign now to avoid disgrace come 2019 election. The Labour Centre added that it is unfair and inhuman for governors after sharing a total of N1.9trillion and Budget Support Facilities since the inception of this administration to fail to meet their obligations.

SERAP to FG: Prioritise medical needs of released Dapchi girls

Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has urged the Government of President Muhammadu Buhari to “prioritise the well-being of the released Dapchi girls by immediately providing them with adequate medical and mental health services. These include post-rape care and psychosocial support for those who have survived abduction by the Boko Haram terrorist group.”
